When Nikhil meets cold water....

Three days on the water and still not dunking leads to this...delibarate canoe capsize. Better do it ourselves than in the middle of a 50 feet deep lake with all our stuff. Also figured out that a canoe filled with water is mighty difficult to upright!

Pieces of a Puzzle....

Originally, like most crazy souls i thought i was the only cartoon who loved puzzles for no rym or reason, then as always, world turns out to be crazier than me ...



I found out "puzzling" has a lot of fans indeed. I often wonder what makes people (And me) crazy about puzzles ? It doesn't fall into any distinct category of sport or game or art or even skill?


Why do people spend to spend hours weather it is a regular 2D flat puzzle, a 3 D architectural structure , a sphere or even an e-puzzle that seems appear ubiquitously on the Internet. ?



The origin of puzzle ?.... was actually meant to teach geography... by breaking up pieces...of different areas.... but honestly, i think the biggest benefit the jigsaw puzzle has provided has is the so often used real life the analogy .....




For me, i don't really know, is it the subtle joy in interlocking two perfect pieces? Or do i really strive till the last piece to get the picture perfect? a or just is it a game the little child in me likes.. i don't really know ...







The first weekend, i spent at my bf's apartment i was more than fascinated to see puzzles hung up, i couldn't help thinking.... isn't this the perfect fit?
